On our old site, I was getting calls with complaints all the time from employers and job seekers. For example, it was difficult to set up a profile, so I spend a lot of time setting those up manually.

With the help of local investors and the Town of Truckee, the Truckee Chamber of Commerce had created the Truckee Jobs Collective in 2017, a job board serving the resort community of Truckee-Tahoe.
While the job board was appreciated by the community, the slow and clunky platform it was built on required extensive time to manage and amassed user complaints.
Melissa, the Chamber’s Marketing & Communications Manager and admin of the job board, found herself overwhelmed by the time-consuming task of managing the job board, which included filtering through over 40,000 spam users and handling thousands of emails to identify legitimate employers.
Both employers and job seekers were complaining about the difficulty of setting up profiles and navigating the system. As the job board's developer from Peak Digital Studio, Matt struggled with the bulky performance and inconvenient maintenance of the WordPress plugin.
